Welcome to 51ÊÓƵ School's Whole School Blog!

Hi everyone

Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a good week, although it’s been cold! Anyway, a blog full of lots of different stories this week, so hopefully something for everyone and something that speaks to you as well. The term is going really well, and our new Chair of Governors, Jeff, has been up at the school several times this term getting to know what’s what

Have a look at a really good Online Safety blog about avoiding cyber-bullying from Lizzie, and Eileen’s blog always has good stuff in there too. Or enjoy the rest of our website that we are always updating!

Thanks for your support for the school – the school is a partnership between us, you and the local authority, and works well when we are all aligned for your son or daughter. All the very best for a lovely weekend when it arrives for you

Take care

John S

Jo pulls it all together. Let’s see what Jo and the team have in store for us this week – quite a lot as usual I think!

Behaviour for Learning (BfL)

Behaviour for Learning (BfL) is a new team; behaviour can overlap with Safeguarding and Mental Health, but we thought it would be best to have a standalone team that can work alongside other teams in the school.

Every year, Russell organises a Book Fair at the school – we’re very grateful for that – and all the books are in the library. It’s a great atmosphere. Let’s hear from him

Makaton Signs of the Week with Julie!

Every Sunday Julie prepares a message for all classes on Makaton signs that are current and relevant to the time of year. I generally reproduce them here so those at home can do the same thing if you want to and if it works for you – or just for you to learn a few signs each week. Hope it works for you!

And finally, Spanish National Day in the dining-room! Muy bien!
